Barbara offers a whole range of treatments including massage, Indian head massage, hot stone massage, acupressure and thermo-auricular therapy (more commonly know as hopi ear candles).

Barbara began her journey into complementary therapies in 1996 when she attended an introductory reflexology course at the Di-Mari Reflexology Clinic. She enjoyed it so much that she immediately snapped up the opportunity to become Di-Mari’s apprentice, whilst completing her ITEC Diploma qualifications in Anatomy and Physiology, Massage and Reflexology. She stayed with Di-Mari until 2000, when she decided to become an independent therapist.

Barbara has since had additional training in Advanced Massage Techniques CCT Diploma(1999), Acupressure and Meridian On-Site Massage Diploma (2002), Acupressure and Meridian On-Site Massage Additional Skills (2004), Thermo-Auricular Therapy (2005), Indian Head Massage (2008) and Hot Stone Massage (2009).

Additional interests in her life include Tai Chi and Yoga. She finds that a comprehension of energy flow is important in the ability to maintain and improve one’s health and is also beneficial in promoting healing.

Barbara is very interested in health and believes in Holistic Therapies which prefer to treat the root of ill health rather than the symptom - view a person as a whole: body, mind, emotion and spirit.

Barbara loves her vocation and is always happy to help people improve their health.

If you would like to book in some time with Barbara please call us on 01702 600762 or contact us via our contact us page to arrange an appointment. If you are nearby please feel free to come into the shop to discuss further.

Barbara has contributed a variety of articles to our wellbeing, complementary therapy and alternative therapy section. Please let us know if you find these informative.
