The retreat is set on the top of the
mountain in a very small hamlet, about 30 minutes drive from
the Old Cultural capital of Veliko Turnovo. Set in 4 acres
of Orchard, with a little stream running through the bottom
of the lane. The studio will be built into a vast barn, and
accomodation in the old farmhouse. At the bottom of the mountain
is the old spa town of Voneshta Voda (Stinky Waters) The
water is at the present time free and is reputed to cure
a multitude of diseases including arthritis, diabetes, eczema,
digestive problems to name but a few. |
Martin
is a trained chef and trainer, has run large estates and hotels,
and so we will be offering fine vegetarian cuisine,
as well as the opportunity to do vegetarian cookery courses
and learn about the yogic sattvic diet. Excursions wiil be
offered to Veliko Turnovo which is a beautiful and dynamic
wattle and daub universty town with many restaurants and street
cafes, as well as a beautiful old castle belonging to the Tsars.
You will also be welcome to make a visit to one of the old
monasteries or just relax in the beautiful surroundings. |
