A back bending workshop using sequences of Asanas and stretches to enable individual exploration of back bends safely using correct alignment.
This workshop will open the body for deeper exploration of back bends for all body types and abilities. Correct alignment is essential for safe and effective back bends, and this workshop will build solid foundations around correct alignment.
Building a practise that creates the space necessary for fully expressed yoga back bends will change your practise and literally open new doors
Starting with exploratory stretches for the thighs, hips, chest, thoracic spine and shoulders and preparing the body to explore back bending at your own pace. This workshop is designed to allow for individual development and will use props and techniques for each individual to stretch their boundaries.
Your teacher Martin Thompson has a personal practice of over 40 years,and has been teaching for 20 years. He has a lifetime of knowledge and experience to share.
