In this event we will question some of the current thinking around the origins and history of yoga. Is it possible that the Vedic culture came with horse riding tribes from Europe? That offshoots eventually merged with an indigenous culture that blossomed into Samkhya philosophy, which eventually led to Patanjali?

Is yoga a spiritual practice? The Origins of the Holy Spirit go back to the Tanakh with Ruach Ha-Kodesh which is a term for The Holy Spirit. In this event we explore at the meaning and interpretations of spiritualty from its origins up to the present day.

SAMKHYA

The Samkhya way: an empirical practice with systems established within it to be able to verify truthfulness and integrity. Pramana means right knowledge, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali sets this out in Sutra 1.7, as it defines three ways, in which we can verify the truth.
