This workshop is necessary for teachers, students, and body workers. You will learn important skills and gain confidence with lots of hands-on practise amongst your peers. You will be guided through the day by your teacher Elaine Jones, who is also our resident physio, with clear explanation and demonstration with plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
As a teacher, this workshop will expand your existing portfolio of adjustment skills, as well as adding to them. Your knowledge of the subtle body will be enhanced, through applying thai massage pressure point techniques. The course will enhance, and compliment your personal practise, which will reflect on your teaching skills.
As a yoga practitioner, you will practise and experience the benefits of skilled adjustments, the results will be an immediate loosening and increased flexibility. Your personal yoga practise will evolve opening the door to a deeper understanding of yoga and yourself.
This workshop will form an essential link in understanding the body, through applied practise. Whether you are a teacher, or student this is an opportunity not to be missed.
Traditional Ancient Thai massage is a unique form of Bodywork that incorporates Hatha Yoga, acupressure and reflexology with origins dating back about 2500 years. The roots of Thai massage are traced back to the founder of the practice (known as “Father Doctor”) Shivaga Komarpaj, a doctor, friend and contemporary to the Buddha
