Leave London Yoga Teacher Training Behind
There comes a point when you feel it, the pull to slow down.
After enough late nights, crowded studios, and busy commutes, even the most dedicated yogi starts to crave stillness.
If you’ve been thinking about London yoga teacher training, maybe pause for a moment.
What if your training didn’t happen between Tube rides and city noise?
London has taught you discipline. Bulgaria teaches you depth.
London has shaped your practice, it’s where you’ve built strength, stamina, and focus.
But in a city that never stops, it’s easy to stay on the surface.
At Yoga Dharma BG, in the hills of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, you’ll find a different rhythm.
Our 200-hour yoga teacher training is designed for yogis who want more than a certificate, they want a real experience of yoga.
For 15 days, your life becomes simple. You practice in a quiet shala surrounded by orchards and mountain air. You study ancient texts that come alive in conversation, not lecture. You eat food grown by neighbours and share long, slow meals with people who love yoga as much as you do.
What makes our training different
This isn’t a course you’ll be able to just walk away from and forget. These 200 hours will shape you and all you to really live yoga every day.
You’ll learn from Martin and Fran, who have been teaching and training yoga teachers for more than 20 years. Their knowledge runs deep, not just anatomy and alignment, but the subtle art of teaching from integrity and understanding human nature.
“Martin and Fran are amazingly experienced and knowledgeable about yoga and people. The education materials, methods, and guest teachers were to the highest level.”
Their guidance combines lineage and lived experience. You’ll leave feeling ready to teach asana, to hold space, to listen, and to share yoga in its true form.
What you’ll study
Our international yoga teacher training is Yoga Alliance accredited and rooted in authentic teachings.
Over your 15 days, you’ll explore:
- Posture, alignment, and safe adjustment
- Anatomy and physiology made practical and clear
- Pranayama and Kriya practices for inner focus
- The Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, and Bhagavad Gita
- Sequencing and class planning that make sense
- The subtle body — chakras, nadis, koshas, prana
- Meditation, ethics, and the philosophy behind daily practice
You’ll learn to teach with confidence, clarity, and compassion, the kind of teacher students remember.
Living yoga, not just learning it
This is a residential training, so everything you need is here — accommodation, meals, books, props, and guidance.
Every room has a private bathroom. The gardens are quiet and open, with a pool and sun deck where you can study or rest.
Meals are vegetarian and vegan, cooked fresh each day from local produce. Brunch and dinner are unhurried, with time to connect, reflect, and share.
The rhythm of your day supports your learning. You’ll move between practice, study, and stillness.
There’s even one afternoon off to explore or simply breathe.
What students say
“I can honestly say it has been a life-changing experience. I have learnt so much about myself, the human body, how to teach and adjust, Yoga Philosophy, and most importantly, I have made amazing friends who will be part of my life for years to come.” Stacey
Many describe this training as the moment their understanding of yoga shifted, from something they did to something they are.
